A Wheat Grass Juicer Will Pay For Itself Within a Few Weeks
Do you like to drink wheat grass juice as part of your healthy diet? If so, you re one of many people who recognise the quite amazing health benefits this juice can bring. Rich in chlorophyll, up to 90 different minerals, and anti oxidant compounds it is a great addition to any diet.
However, it is an expensive habit to keep up! Where I live a shot of the juice costs $5 or even more in up market cafes, and this can certainly add up to a lot if you are drinking it every day.
A neat alternative solution is to make your own, using either home grown or bought wheat grass shoots, and a suitable juicer machine.
The best sort of juicer to use for making smaller quantities of wheat grass juice is a hand juicer. There is not great benefit to buying an electric juicer to make this juice, because it is typically only drunk in 30-40ml shots. Even if you work very slowly, this small amount of juice only takes a minute or two to make at the most, and you have the convenience of not having to take apart and put away a large, bulky machine with cords and power points to worry about.
A good hand juicer is faster to clean and easier to sore, especially if your kitchen space is limited.
How much should you spend on a decent hand juicer? You can easily find bargains for as little as $30, but it si better to buy a good quality stainless steel juicer if you can. You might spend $50 to $100, but you will be getting a really top notch juicer that will last practically forever.
If this sounds like a lot, look at it this way – at $5 per shot of juice every day, it would take less than 4 weeks to pay off the cost of the device, after which time you will be making super low cost wheat grass juice whenever you want it.
