Brighten Up Your Kitchen With A Red Trash Can!

If you find that your kitchen does not have as much panache as you wish it could have, but you are scared to add in a bunch of really bright colors, there is something else you can do – add a red trash can! This is such a simple and subtle way to add a little color in to your kitchen without being TOO bold.

When most people want to add a subtle color this is what they do and oftentimes they end up liking the color so much that they get even braver and start adding other colors into the kitchen. Of course if your plastic trash can is not out in the open the color really does not matter, but most people do have theirs out in the open.

The red trash can also comes in an array of sizes as well to fit any amount of trash (or recyclables if you choose), and for the types of trash bags you use. A lot of people seem to like a plastic trash can better than a metal one simply because they are easier to take care of.

Even now they have those “no print” metal cans available, but most people still complain about these because they still get fingerprints on them, they still smear, and they are really unruly to wash and clean because you have to clean them with special cleaner. With a plastic trash can you can just use soap and hot water and voila, it is good as new!

Also, if you have red in a room next to the kitchen, this is also a subtle way to connect the colors from room to room as well without adding something really red like paint or wallpaper. Or you could add a few red things like bar stool cushions, red appliances like can openers or toasters.
