California Hippie Clothing
If we talk about clothes, there would be an endless variety of topics we could talk about, even this article will not be enough to discuss it all, clothes has been a lot like human they have their own personality and style, although you could not really compare them in number with human, because there are individuals who won allot of clothes that it is possible that a single dress might have been worn only ones.
Primarily clothes have been a basic need, although some of us are capable of going around naked, but their numbers cannot be compared to those who have great demands for something that will help them cover their skin.
Clothes also serves different purposes, they are just made for everyday use. Other are for work, someone use it as uniforms, some are used to fight off sold weathers like jackets and some are also made for hot weather like tank tops and loose clothing.
If I continue this discussion I could go on forever, so let’s get to the main topic which is the hippie clothes. These types of clothes originated and were very popular in the late 1960s. It was very popular because of its authentic taste when it comes to color and its originality. But then all of this factors are really linked to the values that hippies have it has been actually an act of defiance to the majority of the society it is a movement that was really meant for liberation. Hippies really promoted love and peace through these clothes this are really obvious because you can notice peace signs in their clothing and the famous tie dye shirt.
Another purpose is to promote freedom, the freedom to express oneself without having to conform to any standards that our society set upon us. To be what we are and express this to the world. Their clothes has become a great help in aiding them do this.
