Golf Sweater – Basic For Your Wardrobe

Every golfer needs a golf sweater for their wardrobe.  For those living in a cool climate, you may need to wear one even in the summer months.  Of course, this often depends on one’s tolerance in regard to cool weather conditions.  The fall of the year, as well as spring time, often is when many golfers pull out their golf sweaters.

Normally those worn for golfing are lightweight and tend not to be bulky.  This provides for a more appealing fit.  Bulky attire can impact your golf performance by impeding your ability to swing your golf clubs properly.  Not to mention the fact that often bulky-attire is not flattering.

Sport Haley, Port Authority Signature, Nike and Tehama are a few favored brands in golf sweaters.  There are a lot of different brands available in today’s market.  You will find that most of the leading golf attire manufactures do produce golfing sweaters.  When choosing one, be sure to aim for a comfortable fit and that it is not bulky or restrictive in movement.

The golf sweater vest has long been a leading favorite in golf attire.  The guys seem to have a true likeness for the vest look.  The V-neck design is very popular in these garments.  Probably the reason is that it is a look that is flattering to a lot of people.  When you want a classic golf attire look, then a golf vest is the way to go.

As the season’s weather patterns begin to cool down, morning tee off times will often necessitate the need to wear a light jacket or sweater.  However, should the day’s forecast indicate a breezy day ahead, then a windbreaker would likely be the best way to go.

Often the day will warm up, when this happens you will probably have to take your sweater off.  Women golfers are sometimes seen wearing one tied around their waist or neck. If you decide to do this, be sure it does not feel awkward or annoying. You don’t want it to impact your swing.  For many people, the tied around the waist look is not very flattering to their appearance.
