Lose Weight Quickly With Just Diet and Exercise

There is a bunch of garbage that is peddled to you when it comes to weight loss.  There are countless infomercials with some of the craziest looking machines that guarantee you that you will be able to look like the spokesmodels on the infomercial if you just pay 5 easy payments and use their machine.  There are books and DVDs that swear you will lose weight with their methods.  The problem is, most of these things just do not work, and instead of losing weight you just end up losing time and money.  If you really want to lose weight quickly, then you need to focus on your nutrition as well as your exercise.

As far as nutrition goes, you will want to cut out bad foods.  That includes foods that are high in sugars, high in fat content, high in sodium, and high in calories.  None of these will help you in your weight loss, and they will only hinder your efforts.  Try to eat more fruits and vegetables because these will not only help you to feel more full making it less likely to snack on bad foods, but they are very low in calories and they also provide you with fruits and vegetables in a natural way.

When it comes to exercise, you want to make sure you are consistent.  Going 4-5 times per week will help you to be able to lose weight quickly.  The key is to do the right types of exercise.  Cardio will not help you to lose weight, at least after doing it for a bit, because your body adapts and burns less calories and fat over time.  Instead, you should focus on strength training exercises that build up muscle. This will help your body to burn fat at a much faster rate and because the amount of weight and resistance can be increased, your body won’t have time to be able to adapt, allowing you to continue to burn fat week after week.
