Lose Weight While Cleansing Your Body
The lemonade diet lasts between 10 to 40 days. It is similar to juice diet which is basically a detox diet. What the diet does is clean the system of impurities and toxins that are stored in different parts of the body. It also promotes the burning of excess fats stored in the body.
Lemonade will be the only source of energy that you will have while in this diet. Lemonade is a mix of fresh-squeezed lemon juice, purified water, maple syrup and cayenne pepper. Pretty easy to make and it tastes great.
Starting out with this diet can be a bit of a challenging as a mater of fact. The body has to go through the adjustment period. Going through the same lifestyle without solid food is quite a big change that many will have a hard time with.
Natural weight loss is one side effect of the detox diet like the lemonade diet. Other side effects though will include nausea, headaches, vomiting, fatigues, irritability and cravings. These side effects are generally short-lived, but if they persist and go severe, the diet should be stopped early.
It is also recommended to drink at least 6 to 12 glasses of lemonade everyday. To make sure that the dieter would stay dehydrated during the program, it as also recommended that he/she drink water regularly. Most dieters drink a glass of water in between glasses of lemonade to prevent dehydration.
It is also recommended that if you want to follow the program several times in a year, you must put a few months interval. The longer the time on the diet, the longer one should wait to repeat it. Three months between 10-day stints in the minimum recommended interval for the diet. Please don’t use this diet more often because you will get diminishing returns and even hurt your health.
