Managing forklift liability
Forklift accidents are extremely costly in your warehouse. Electric pallet trucks are extremely useful, however they can be extremely dangerous if they are not used with respect. If you do not have the budget to send your staff away for training, you can also consider using an online training courses while. Online OSHA certified training courses will cost much less however they are just as effective as regular classroom training sessions. You can find these online over the Internet, or ask your local forklift dealer. It is also a good idea to reward your staff to encourage them to attend safety sessions. A good idea is to set up a competition where the highest scored test takers received a prize or some other sort of incentive. An ounce of prevention is better than a pound of cure, when it comes to warehouse safety. Make sure you do all the little steps to mitigate the chances of being involved in a factory warehouse injury claim.
